The 2008 Blue Haven Pools 25th Annual WaveMasters Surf Contest is just weeks away!. The weather, waves, crowd, competition, and all the activity on the beach always results in a spectacular weekend of fun for the 200-plus competitors and thousands of spectators.

The annual WaveMasters Contest attracts hundreds of Florida's top surfers, as well as many semi-retired local competitors, all vying for tons of fantastic prizes, including a Grand Prize trip to Costa Rica from First Coast Travel. Trained judges, an abundance of media coverage, great sponsors, and ESA organizers all combine to make this North Florida's premiere surf event.

The Beach Raffle is responsible for raising over $3000 towards our fund raising efforts. Dozens of new surfboards, skateboards, sunglasses, a beach cruiser, and a multitude of surfing accessories make it look like a surf shop on the beach. All of this product exposure, combined with TV and newspaper coverage, scaffold banners, entry forms, posters, contest T-shirts, PA announcements, our web page and more, make this a promotional extravaganza for any company looking to boost their image in the Jacksonville market.

Surfing Magazine recently called Jacksonville the top producer of East Coast talent these days. The WaveMasters Contest has become the Showcase Event for North Florida, home to many of the hottest surfers on the East Coast, like Asher Nolan, Karina Petroni, Cody Thompson, the list goes on.
